Our Mission:

To assist businesses and organizations in Mecklenburg County to recycle and reduce waste. We provide a platform to learn best-practices from subject matter experts, to network with like-minded businesses and to be recognized for their waste reduction and recycling efforts.

Program Goals:

1. To provide Mecklenburg County businesses / organizations with ongoing mentorship, education and networking opportunities centered around waste reduction and recycling practices.
2. To recognize and reward Mecklenburg County businesses / organizations that reduce, reuse and recycle workplace waste and that purchased recycled products.
3. To become the focal point for waste reduction and recycling education within Mecklenburg County’s business community.
4. To foster a renewed commitment within Mecklenburg County’s commercial sector to recycle and reduce waste.
5. To empower organizations to become ambassadors in the commercial sector – encouraging waste reduction and recycling best practices amongst their peers.
